It’s no surprise that pink is one of my favourite colours (duh!) and since it’s National Pink Day today, I thought I’d talk about a mask that I love that is also pink! I’ve been a fan of Origins for a while and even though I haven’t tried too many of their products, I like a lot of their masks and most of them work well with my skin. But this one – the Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay ($32) – I think it’s safe to say that it’s my favourite so far!
If you know me in person, you’ll know I’m a tea lover. Which is why when I discovered MIYU Beauty, I fell in love immediately. They’re an eco-luxe beauty brand that offers natural tea and skincare blends that help protect your skin and unveil your inner glow, so you can achieve beauty from within. I have been trying out their hydrate mi deluxe pairing for a couple of weeks now and have been really enjoying it! It comes with premium loose tea leafs, tea filters, and a beauty essence.
If you haven’t been living under a rock, you’ll know that coconut oil is all the rage in the beauty world right now! For instance, it can remove makeup while keeping your skin moisturized, taking the stripped feeling out of the equation. However, coconut oil usually comes in a large glass jar and stays solid at room temperature, so it’s not the most user-friendly (read: annoying) product to use at your vanity or sink. Which is why when I discovered NIU BODY‘s coconut oil makeup wipes, I had to give it a try!
This radiance-restoring serum ($50) is tailored to people in their 20s to 30s who start to notice that their skin doesn’t recover from stress as easily as it once did, a.k.a. me. On top of getting your glow on, this serum claims to also refine texture, shrink pores, and blur imperfections, giving you fresher, brighter and smoother skin altogether. That’s a lot of promises from just a bottle of serum, so does it really do all that?
A few months ago I did a really large haul at Sephora and picked up a few skincare sets, including this Laneige Brightening Kit. This kit retails for $18 only so these radiance-boosting products are pretty small, but they will still last for more than just a week or two for you to really test out the results. And it is still available on Sephora Canada!
