It’s no surprise that pink is one of my favourite colours (duh!) and since it’s National Pink Day today, I thought I’d talk about a mask that I love that is also pink! I’ve been a fan of Origins for a while and even though I haven’t tried too many of their products, I like a lot of their masks and most of them work well with my skin. But this one – the Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay ($32) – I think it’s safe to say that it’s my favourite so far!
When I came back from my travels in May, I got really sick – a fever and a cold. My skin was parched from being physically dehydrated, and my nose got all red and flaky from sneezing so much. Thank god I also came home to a super fun PR package from Clinique – this Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate was exactly what my skin needed at the time.
This radiance-restoring serum ($50) is tailored to people in their 20s to 30s who start to notice that their skin doesn’t recover from stress as easily as it once did, a.k.a. me. On top of getting your glow on, this serum claims to also refine texture, shrink pores, and blur imperfections, giving you fresher, brighter and smoother skin altogether. That’s a lot of promises from just a bottle of serum, so does it really do all that?
A few months ago I did a really large haul at Sephora and picked up a few skincare sets, including this Laneige Brightening Kit. This kit retails for $18 only so these radiance-boosting products are pretty small, but they will still last for more than just a week or two for you to really test out the results. And it is still available on Sephora Canada!
