It’s really hard to believe that 2016 is coming to an end! This time of year is often stressful for a lot of people because they don’t know what they should gift their loved ones. Here are some beauty products that I personally would LOVE to find in my stocking and I’m sure a lot of your friends and family would too!
S K I N – The Origins Out of Trouble 10-minute Mask ($32) works wonders. It draws out all the impurities in your skin, gets rid of that bumpy texture, and gives you a quick boost in radiance – all in just 10 minutes! It works for all skin-types and would make such an amazing gift to anyone who appreciates a quick skincare pick-me-up from time to time! Another product I highly recommend is anything with retinol. It’s no secret that I love retinol products but I recently fell in love with this amazing retinol treatment ($87) from Miracle 10. Retinol helps fight sun damage and signs of aging, evens your skin tone and improves your overall skin texture. Anyone who wants nice skin can benefit from retinol. And I’m sure no one wants bad skin, right?
E Y E S – Flawless by Friday’s 5-day facial mask system ($45) would make an amazing Christmas present, but the box won’t fit in a stocking. Since this list is for stocking stuffers only, I’m going to recommend their Mesmereyes ($26). It’s basically the same concept but for your eyes. It comes with 3 under-eye masks that hydrate, depuff, and firm up your eye area. I like to use it in the morning because they feel amazingly cooling and that really helps with depuffing those designer eye bags I have!
L I P S – I have been in love with Bite Beauty ever since I went to their Lip Lab earlier this fall. I highly recommend adding any Bite lip set to your shopping list because their products just can’t be beat. I’m featuring The Perfect Bite Set ($25) here but it’s currently sold out on the site, so try your luck in stores! Another thing I want to recommend is luxury lip balms, and my two favourites are Chanel’s Rouge Coco Baume ($42) and Dior’s Creme de Rose ($35). These are both amazing lip balms and of course, they come with gorgeous packaging. Are they worth the hefty price tags? Probably not. But they would make such a great gift for that luxury-lover in your life without having you spend a few thousand dollars.
H A I R – I have recently reviewed two different Tangle Teezers and I just can’t not include their Compact Styler ($25) on this list. It’s a great brush for all hair types and lengths, and it’s just handy to have. They recently came out with a Hello Kitty version and it’s adorable! Another hair product that would make a great stocking stuffer is Puff Me ($20). It has a cute pink bottle (which is always a plus in my book) and it helps create texture and volume in seconds. You pump the product onto your roots and slowly massage it in. Next thing you know, you got big hair! It’s a really fun gift for those who love novelty hair products.
N A I L S – Nail polishes make such amazing stocking stuffers because they’re small and you can really customize it to anyone’s taste. Essie is my go-to brand and I always get them from Trade Secrets, because they have nail polish promos really often. Two of my winter favourites include Penny Talk ($9, rose gold) and Aruba Blue ($9, metallic royal blue).
T O O L S – I highly recommend all beauty tools from Tweezerman. The tweezers and nail clippers I’m featuring here are quite a few years old, so I can’t even find the exact styles on their site anymore. This goes to show that investing in quality beauty tools are worth it. They are sturdy, they last, and they make great stocking stuffers. I also think great brushes are really important. I wrote a brief review on My Makeup Brush Set ($40) a month ago when I first got them and I have to say, I still really, really love them. I’m only featuring my clean brushes here (haven’t had time to clean the ones I use daily!) but a set comes with 10 brushes and you can easily divide them up for different people, or save a few for yourself.
That’s all for my Holiday Gift Guide on Beauty Stocking Stuffers! What beauty favourites do you have and what do you recommend as stocking stuffers? Let me know in the comments below!
